Hi, I have studied mandarin for 2+ years, currently at NTU's CLD programme. NTU covers a lot of grammar & writing but I want to improve my conversation, so I'm looking for a teacher who will help me purely with speaking (100% Chinese - NO ENGLISH!) and will correct my grammar while we talk. Also want to cover how to talk about daily things in Taiwanese life! I am free every day from lunchtime onwards. Prefer lessons in person, not online. Hi, I've been living in Taiwan for over 5 years, so it's time I really pulled my finger out and learned the language. I have some rudimentary Chinese and have been using Practical Audio Visual Chinese 1 for self study, but I've never had any formal training or classes. I'm surrounded by Taiwanese women in terms of my work colleagues and my girlfriend so I think I would prefer a male tutor if possible. Greetings! I'm active in the local business world and need to improve my Chinese speaking abilities. I've been in TW for 2.5 years with only six months of formal training from the MTC at NTNU. I enjoyed the lessons and reached book 2. I travel often so I can't attend regular classes, so a flexible tutor is needed to assist me. I prefer someone with experience, but that and education level is negotiable if the tutor has a unique style that helps me improve. Honestly, I don't know the best way to tackle other than to practice speaking more. If someone has exercises they know that can be useful, that would be great. Hi I'm currently working in Taipei at a consumer electronics company and would like to have a daily Chinese tutor. I would like to focus on phrases I can use at work and also my pronunciation.

I'm really out of practice. I previously studied the Practical Audio Visual series until Book 4. I spent one semester at NTHU, two at Chinese Culture University's MLC and one semester at NTNU. However, I've been abroad for the last 3 years and haven't been practicing Chinese. My tones, writing and confidence have completely eroded. I teach English full time and have a lengthy commute so I'd only be available in the mornings or at weekends. It depends on the price of the classes as to how many classes I can have. I would like to stay in Taiwan for the long term and would like to work towards taking an exam. I'm hardworking, but enjoy fun and innovative classes.

I am looking for a cantonese tutor. I have never studied cantonese before, but have decent mandarin. i would like to pay for a class once per week for around a year or more.

Just moved here and realized I probably won't study on my own. I'm tired of eating at 7/11 and pointing to google maps in taxis.
