I am going to be in Taipei for 3 weeks this summer (30th July - 20th August). I'd like to take the opportunity to brush up on my own Mandarin, which I last learnt systematically about 10 years ago ... I'm not quite back to total beginner, but not far off that! I was thinking it would be good to find a tutor who could meet me for a shortish lesson most week day mornings (e.g. 45 mins - 1 hour). I am based in Da'an, and will be near the National Taiwan Normal University each day so that would be a convenient neighbourhood to meet up.

Like the title says, I would like to meet with a tutor who speaks fluent English as I am still at the beginning stages of learning Mandarin. I'm thinking weekly meets. I have a book, but it would also be good if the tutor has some of their own materials. Needs to be able to commute to DaAn.

Hi all, I have studied Chinese previously and am currently seeing a tutor once a week. During the summer holidays, I am teaching in Huzhou in the mornings and evenings so I would like to meet with a tutor for 1/1.5 hours per day on weekdays in between my shifts at work. My Chinese has been digressing for some time now, and I'd like to get back to speaking on a regular basis. I can read and write, but I'd basically like the class to be based on conversation.
