Hi all, I have studied Chinese previously and am currently seeing a tutor once a week. During the summer holidays, I am teaching in Huzhou in the mornings and evenings so I would like to meet with a tutor for 1/1.5 hours per day on weekdays in between my shifts at work. My Chinese has been digressing for some time now, and I'd like to get back to speaking on a regular basis. I can read and write, but I'd basically like the class to be based on conversation. I have some books I'd like to ask questions about, in regards to grammar and usage. My classes before were fun and full of a range of topics, so I hope I can find a suitable tutor. College student in the US been here for 20 years looking to improve my chinese mandarin.

Hi there, I have lived in Taiwan for ages but sadly my Chinese ability is still pretty lacking... So, this July, I want to change all that. I am hoping to find a suitable tutor before then, and during July I want to spend around 20-30 hours on tuition. There is some possibility of continuing classes in August though I won't have as much time. I am not super-rich, but I am hoping to find someone who can do the job at a good price for both of us. I live near the Art Museum but I am able to travel. My ideal tutor is someone I find it easy to talk to. Experience is good but I am happy to give someone new to teaching Chinese a go. The key thing for me is if our personalities click. I can only have classes during regular working hours (8am to 5pm) as I spend my evenings with my lovely wife. Hello ~ I am Laura, a French student in Chinese at NTNU. I am at beginner level, and will stop my classes in NTNU for the next term in order to learn with a tutor. I am available at the beginning of June and I am familiar with NTNU textbooks (beginner one completed at 2/3) from which I like the method. I would like to learn as much as possible and need to be pushed a little in order to give my maximum at learning. I stopped my studies in order to learn Chinese until November, and as a result money is a major concern. I would like to work with a passionate and enthusiastic teacher, which preferably has a certification in Chinese teaching. I would also prefer a tutor girl to be more comfortable, if possible.
