大家好！ We are three adults (two British and one American) who are looking for an experienced teacher to help us with our mandarin learning. We have all studied PAVC books at CYCU and/or NCU previously (up to books 2 and 3). However class schedules often conflict with some or all of our work, and we are unable to commit to studying for continual semesters. We are looking for 4-8 hours a week, 2 hours at a time during the mornings. We have a quiet office location available for classes in Longgang (龍岡). We're looking for a teacher who can be both friendly and strict at the same time! Minimal to no English during class is preferred, just as long as you can be patient with us! I used take chinese classes in my home country and I passed HSK3, I understand a little Chinese but have to improve my speaking especially with vocabulary from my profession. Hello! My wife and I moved to Taiwan back in July and would both like to improve our Chinese reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. We live in the Songshan area in Taipei. We know a few basic phrases (I don't want a bag, Hello, Goodbye, etc.) but our speaking skill is overall very low. We also know the English words for some Chinese characters, but don't know the Chinese pronunciation for very many. Hello, I'm an English teacher based at a buxiban in Taichung. I came to Taiwan in November with the intention to learn Mandarin. At the moment I am self taught; using self-teach DVDs I have learned basic Chinese and insist on using it in a private capacity (that is, when I'm not at work). The problem is that the book teaches Chinese in pinyin, lessons in English and simplified characters by rote. I am teaching myself how to write traditional characters from another book, so that helps though. Hello, I need a couple of things: 1. I need interactive learning. We need to go on trips so I can learn Mandarin spoken in real life settings. I.e. we go to a store and just talk about the products Go to a restaurant and talk about the food, go to the museum etc. 2. I need a proofreader for my oral presentations. I just basically talk about the topic and you tell me if you understand if not we proofread. And then you go and talk while I listen. 3. I have a video blog. I need you to comment on my pronunciation, usage of words, and make a video response back along with the written version on the computer to match in case there are a few I don't understand. We can review them the next day. Overall I would say this is 5 to 10hrs a week work. Im willing to pay 200 and up so let me know and we can negotiate something. I do not need you to have a bachelor's. Literally anyone can do this :p
