We are in Taiwan for several months. We are currently in Taipei. We are a French/American family who live normally in Vancouver, Canada. We would like a tutor who can spend 3 hours per day with 3 kids. Ideally, if you know French that would be a bonus since our kids do online school in French. We would like a combination of formal learning i.e. books and then a lot of practical time in the streets and/or playing games in Mandarin (cards, monopoly). Ours kids interest is in dance i.e. hip hop, break dance.

I'm an English Teacher who has lived in Taiwan and has an inexcusably poor level of Mandarin. I am seeking an Instructor to meet at least twice a week for over and hour, on a regular, consistent schedule. I want to seriously and drastically improve my conversational Chinese. Reading and writing would be secondary priorities for me. I would like a detailed, structured learning schedule, and not a free-flowing, conversational one. I would prefer to do it at the following times, Monday and Thursday, from 16:00 on, and Friday, from 14:00 on.

I want to improve my basic Chinese conversation skills and find a tutor in the Taipei area. I hope to find an outgoing and energetic teacher/tutor to help me improve my basic Chinese speaking skills and help with my listening comprehension abilities. We recently moved to Taiwan from the States. My 2 boys will be going to a local Taipei school- 1st and 4th grade. We all speak Mandarin but cannot read or write (including me). I need a student tutor that’s good with kids and can help my kids with their homework and readying and writing Mandarin.
