Hi there, I'm Nikolas from Germany, and I would like to learn Chinese, especially basic conversation. Looking for a private tutor in Yilan sometime between January and May, 2014.

I would like to have a class 5:15-6:45 every Tuesday at my apartment near Renai Circle. I have a classroom with a whiteboard. I have been living in Taiwan for three years, but have only taken three months of classes. I've finished the first and second Shida books and know the vocabulary and can recognize maybe 70% of the characters, but can't write at all. My goal is not to learn how to write, just to be able to recognize so I can type. I'd like the whole class to be in Mandarin and we can continue with book 3. Recently my speaking has gotten much better and I want my reading and writing skills to be on par with what I can speak. I was thinking about going back to Shida to take the Reading and Writing for ABC's but I feel like I'm a bit too old for that and I'm looking for something more convenient. I live above Xinpu MRT in Banqiao so if you are willing to come over here a couple to few times a week during the day.

I'm resigned to signing up next week for Chinese classes at NCKU for one on one, but I'll bet there's somebody else out there just as good. Looking to meet one or two hours Monday through Friday, anytime of day is fine, for a few months at least. Need to strengthen vocabulary and general speaking, am fine working through the audiovisual blue book (book three) as well. Don't want to start until mid-December, but will probably continue for several months.

Hello, Myself and a friend are looking for a long-term, serious Chinese teacher. We are each looking to study 1 on 1 for 10 hours per week, meaning a total of 20 hours per week for our teacher. We will pay hourly, but the projected pay per month is 30000-40000NTD per month (negotiable).
