I am a foreigner who's worked for a year now. I have time available with my new job for some private jobs. To be honest, I prefer private jobs. Working with children and adults, one on one, is much more satisfying work. My rates are reasonable, I am happy to work with small groups, and my hours are currently quite flexible. I am a hard working, dedicated and committed teacher who loves working with children. I have experience with all age levels and also adult education as well.
I am looking to find an English or music teaching position preferably in Da'an, Xinyi, Wanhua, or Yonghe district of Taipei. I have been studying Chinese and teaching English in Shanghai for the past seven months and I am planning on moving to Taipei on May the 3rd. I promise that I would be an enthusiastic and committed addition to your team! Please contact me and I will send you a resume.
I have tutored students of all ability levels from special ed kids to Medical Doctors. I have experience with all age groups mostly high school and above. In Taiwan, I taught college students in many subjects for nine years. Most recently, I taught science to elementary school students as well as tutoring. I am free up until 5 pm during the week and open on Saturdays. Let me know what you want to work on, and we will prepare that. I live in Tanzi and prefer to tutor in Taichung or close to Tanzi.
Hello!
My name is Kayli Harlan. I am an American currently teaching in Shnaghai, China. I plan to move to Taiwan to teach English in August 2014. I am looking for a full-time teaching position anywhere in Taiwan.
I have a Bachelor's degree in International Relations, TEFL certification, two years of formal teching experience, significant volunteer experience, and additional training in the following areas: TESOL, communications, and Chinese language.
I am enthusiastic, dedicated, honest, and hard-working. I would be happy to share some pictures of some of my teaching experiences throughout the years. I work hard to make my class a fun and interesting place for children to learn and grow. No matter how old or yound my students are, I like to make learning creative and interesting.
Here is a brief summary of some of my teaching experience:
My most recent experience in teaching is at Wunan International Kindergarten in Shanghai, China. I currently work here as a full-time classroom teacher. My class is one of the "big classes" with most of the children being 5 or 6 years old. I work with the children exclusively in English and we study a variety of subjects in the context of English. This includes lessons in science, mathematics, music, art, reading, writing, drama and culture. Classroom managemnet, cirriculum development, lesson planning, activity coordination, and parent-teacher communication are all significant aspects of my job. I also work with and adapt an American curriculum for native speakers called, DLM Early Childhood Learning Express. In this position, I get to be very creative and I always have to be energetic. My favorite activity from this year in when the chidlren and I made a volcano and then created a chemical reaction to make the volcano "erupt." I also loved our polar bear and Artic units where we made two different types of fake snow and used vegetable shoretning to imitate polar bear blubber.
I also have experience working for training centers as an English teacher. Through my two year position at Bestway EDU in Shnaghai, I have taught English, debate, and culture in public schools and private offices. I have also worked as a private tutor for dozens of studnets over the past two years. I have used and adapted the following cirriculums: IELTS, Side By Side, New Beat English, Love English, Let's Go, New Concept English Junior, and 3E.
I also have extensive volunteer experiences in education, both domestically and internationally. For instance, I completed my TEFL certification by teaching for three months at an organization that helps refugees and immigrants in America. I taught English to adults who were studying to pass their American citizenship exams.
If you have an open teaching position and you are interested in knowing more information about me, please first contact me by email. I will be happy to provide you with additional documentation, references, and photos.
Thank you for your time and consideration!

I am a teacher who has been living in Taiwan since 2003. I graduated in Law and went on to do a master's degree in Business Law. I came to Taiwan to learn Chinese, but fell in love with teaching.
I am married to a Taiwanese national, have an APRC and Open Work Permit, and we have a Taiwanese son and our own house, so I am in Taiwan indefinitely.

I am looking primarily for a position in a public or private elementary school, but will discuss positions in junior high and senior high schools with interested parties.
My personal belief is that I need to do my job to the best of my ability, make sure my students do as well as they possibly can, stay out of office politics and treat others with respect. All I ask is that people are reasonable, honest and up-front with me.
Warm regards from me to you! After earning my Master degree in UK last year, I finished my Chinese teaching course not long ago. I wanna gain some experience on Chinese teaching. Hello my name is john I'm 20 years old with 1 year experience teaching in Taiwan and a daycare manager for 1 year in the states. I have a BA in psychology and a TESOL. I'm looking for full time work anywhere in Taiwan.
Hi, my name is Jeff, born here in Taiwan and raised in California since I was 13. I am bilingual in American English and Chinese Mandarin.
I first began teaching as a substitute for my friend who is Candian. I have about three years of experience teaching elementary-aged students and younger kids (a private elementary boarding school, cram schools and kindergartens) and also about three years of experience teaching adults and university students. (a few private universities and colleges, including Fu Jen Catholic University, and a local cram school.)
I have always taught as a foreign teacher. However, I just wanted to clarify that I am Asian, since I command an American accent which most people mistake for non-Asian.
Just as some people believe diamonds are expensive because they are rare (they are not), some people believe non-Asian teachers are superior to their Asian counterparts. A belief with which I disagree but people have the right to believe whatever they want to believe.
If you don't insist on having a "foreigner," maybe we can have some classes together.
If you are interested in my qualifications, please don't hesitate to contact me. As my phone has very poor reception, please first contact me by email or by text.
Please see attachment for a recent photo, my resume, and some of my works.
Sincerely,
Cheng, Jeff

My name is Eric Kruse. I have recently moved to Taiwan and am interested in finding full time work as a teacher. I am a qualified, professional teacher holding a B.A. in History with a Secondary Education teaching certificate from American University in Washington, D.C. I have twenty years of teaching experience both in the United States and Korea and have taught all ages from pre-school students to business and government professionals.
I am easy going and have always had a good rapport with both my students and colleagues. More important is the fact that I love teaching. I believe that teaching is much more than simply imparting information for students to absorb. Teaching is an interactive experience where the teacher can learn as much from the students as they do from the teacher. While teaching methods and curriculum will vary according to culture, school, age group and ability, treating students with respect and fairness will create a classroom more conducive to learning regardless of these differences.
