Hello! My name is Melissa Rudd. I am a graduate of Dartmouth College, and this Spring I will get my Masters in religion from Harvard. While I have studied religion and literature, my passion is languages: I am proficient at French and German, as well as some Hebrew and Spanish, and I have studied the ancient languages of Latin and Sanskrit, and this summer I will study Greek. I want to teach English and perhaps other languages in Taiwan this next academic year. I hope to find position where the students and teachers are academically curious and dedicated, and perhaps where I can also teach other subjects such as literature, philosophy, or other languages. I am a very caring teacher and very invested in the success of my students; I want to use my skills to help others succeed and find meaning in life. Hi, I will be moving to Taipei in June and I am looking for a full time position teaching English. I spent the past year and a half teaching English in China to children ages 3-15. Current Job: I work full time in Beijing, China at a private learning center. We specialize in the American way of teaching, english only as a priority rule in the classroom setting. I am currently hold a four year bachelor's degree in nursing. I have eight years+ experience working with children of all ages and I am prepared to work at least one year under contract.
