Here are my stats: I will be available at the end of August. I have been living and teaching in Taiwan for almost 4 years. I am married to a Taiwanese girl. I have a Health Card and ARC. My Chinese is very limited. (I can communicate with the kids though) I have worked at 2 schools. Been a part of 4 Christmas Shows and 3 End of Semester Performances 2 speech competitions (writing, rehearsing, dancing, props ect?.) Salary: 650-700 I have a strong belief that phonics should be at the top of every kindergartens curriculum. Providing a strong phonics base in the early learning stage will show it rewards in the months and years to come. I also understand that parents want to see results and here in Taiwan they want to see them fast. Through experience and training I have had success with my teaching style. Upbeat, funny, and then at times quite stern but the end result is I can take a class of non-English speaking kids and teach them to speak English. I am not saying that I am a great teacher I am just letting you know that I have confidence through experience. I will travel most anywhere if the situation is good. I ride my bike, most days, to work. One of my hobbies is film editing: I always make a slide show for class and burn on a vcd and send it home with them. The parents really love it. (I will bring an example to the interview) I am also very computer savvy and have the ability to do many creative things with audio and video for teaching. Anyway that鱷 about enough. I讜 native Taiwanese, but at the age of 8 my family moved to South America (Ecuador to be exact). From an early age I have received education from abroad, attending American high school (International American Academy. Guayaquil, Ecuador), and later on attending College in the US (Golden Gate University, San Francisco, California.) I have come back to Taiwan to experience a new kind of challenge for me, I seek a challenging yet fulfilling job in many ways. In high school I was part of an after school program where I taught Spanish to kids who just came from the US. I find working and teacher youngster quite fulfilling.
