I'm looking for 1 to 2 different tutors to help me really improve my Chinese over the next 6 months. Hours: 2 - 6 per week. Location: LiuZhangLi MRT Materials: Kids basic Chinese text books: Grade 1 through to Junior High - Reading & Writing. General conversation topics Price: Negotiable (approx $300 per hour). I'm willing to pay up front for the week or month with no refund for me if I skip class. I've tutored English for many years and know how hard it can be if students always cancel!

I am a 25 year old male from England looking to begin my Chinese language learning. I am an absolute beginner so I will need a lot of help and a tutor who speaks decent English. Hi, I'm a 24 year old teacher from the US looking to improve my Chinese. I have taken a year of classes back in the states, and have been doing my best to practice around Taiwan for the past year and 9 months. I would like to practice once or twice a week for an hour or two hours. I am looking for sessions that can be fun yet still serious. I have a book we can work from, but I am close to finishing it, so if you have any textbook recommendations - then I am open. I am looking for a tutor who is preferably male and around my age. I would also like you to have good English, so we can discuss grammar points, and you could help with some translations. My focus is mainly on speaking and some on reading (menus mostly for reading). I learned in Pinyin, so that is my preferred method I am free in the evenings after 7:30pm most nights - Tuesdays and Fridays would be my preferred times. Hello all, My name is Mike and I live in Hsinchu. I've lived in Taiwan for 2 months, and studied Chinese for a total of 4 months. I have had no formal classroom training, and only know what I do through friends, and trying to fumble my way through conversations with Taiwanese. I use this book called "Practical Audio-Visual Chinese 2nd Edition book 1" I am really interested in learning Mandarin as fluently as I possibly can, but I am not interested in paying thousands of US dollars for college classes that do little to prepare you for the real world.
