Need Mandarin tutor for beginner

Hi, I am looking for a tutor who can guide me through a structured course using a reputable book. I want someone who can push me through a lot of material as I want to progress fast and I would like homework every week. I would like to focus on conversation but I need to start to learn to read as well. I am available 1 evening/week at the moment between 7pm and 8:30pm. My tones are fairly good and knowledge of pinyin ok, but I have never learnt bpmf or studied reading. Please let me know what book you would recommend. Thank you!

Besides written and listening homework, this should also include a list of vocabulary to memorize before each lesson, so that during lessons we can work on drilling and pronunciation. Looking for a tutor to help me with my Mandarin. I've studied some, a lot more work to do. I prefer to work with Zhuyin (bopomo). Characters, speaking, writing, the whole deal. Basically anywhere in Taipei/NTP is ok. Closer to an MRT station, red line south of Taipei Main Station is ideal. We can use whatever books you like, but I'll bring in outside material when I come across questions.

I am living in Tainan and my chinese is pretty good. I have leveled out however and want to improve my reading. Doing it on my own is a bit too slow. I am looking for someone that I can work with twice a week. I may do language exchange but it's not necessary. I'm a 22 yr old english teacher in taipei county (sanchong), looking for a teacher who can improve my Chinese. I've already studied 3 years at university so have a more than basic grasp, but need practise my spoken communication and more advanced structures, as i find myself using the same broken chinese everywhere, thus not learning anything new! would prefer fairly informal conversational structure, and a tutor who is familiar with simplified script and pinyin romanisation as my study has so far been through mainland chinese teachers. i am also open to learning more traditional script too.

Hi, I hope to move to Taiwan next year and will be living in Pingzhen, Jongli area, so ideally someone between closer to here but I guess I could travel into Taipei. I have some very basic Mandarin but really would be starting almost as a beginner. I hope to get my current employer to pay for a course for me and so would need to demonstrate that it is a structured programme of tuition. The format for these adverts is restrictive so please ignore the Degree Level wanted and also my address and telephone number! I am not intending to work in Taiwan though. What I want is be able to survive here: buy train tickets, ask directions, general conversation - not to feel completely dependent on my wife (who is Taiwanese)!
