I'm very interested in learning Chinese and am looking for someone n Hsinchu to tutor me in Mandarin twice a week. I'm interested in developing speaking, writing, reading and listening skills. I need it for day to day conversation and functioning in Taiwan. Hi it's a little difficult to say where my Chinese level is at. I've been here 10 years and studied at Shida for a year plus., then I did an MA with Chinese language as the medium but I spent a good part of each lecture looking out the window tuning out. As a teacher myself I ve found my students that do best meet me twice a week at my house or theirs for two hours each time, so that's the way I'd like to do it. There's a study area where I live that would work. My schedule is pretty flexible tho weekends are out unfortunately. Basically I need to bring my Chinese up to a level where I can use it professionally so I hope you can help me with that. I'm looking for a long term teaching relationship.
