Hi, I hope to move to Taiwan next year and will be living in Pingzhen, Jongli area, so ideally someone between closer to here but I guess I could travel into Taipei.
I have some very basic Mandarin but really would be starting almost as a beginner. I hope to get my current employer to pay for a course for me and so would need to demonstrate that it is a structured programme of tuition. The format for these adverts is restrictive so please ignore the Degree Level wanted and also my address and telephone number!
I am not intending to work in Taiwan though. What I want is be able to survive here: buy train tickets, ask directions, general conversation - not to feel completely dependent on my wife (who is Taiwanese)!
