Hello! I'm looking for a Chinese tutor to take private lessons, preferably in the Beitou to Tianmu area.
I have some intermediate ability in speaking and reading Chinese, but my writing skills are poor and I would like especially to improve my ability to write and read Chinese fluently. I am studying for my own education/pleasure rather than professionally -- so I am more interested in reading materials from novels and the arts, rather than business. I am ambitious to achieve a high proficiency and would be a hard-working student.
I am originally from the UK. I studied a doctorate in Mathematics in the US and have worked in San Francisco, Helsinki and Berlin before coming to Taipei in 2020.
I would be available to meet most weekday mornings (and possibly also on Saturday afternoon).
