I'm a highly motivated student currently studying through a mess of means: I'm going through two textbooks, I'm learning songs, I'm talking with locals as much as I can, I'm reading children's books and reading menus. Still, my level is low. I know a handful of random vocabulary, numbers, how to order food, how to ask basic questions, how to say where I'm from, and how to say I don't understand and apologize for not understanding.
I want a teacher who 1) Can come to Sanchong twice or more every week 2) Who can help me focus what I'm learning 3) Who can add on what they think is important.
I'm most interested in speaking and listening, though I'd also like to learn to read. I'm holding off on writing for now, though if a tutor thinks it's important, I'll stress it more.
