My name is Austin, I am here in Taipei for the next year to teach English. While I am here it is a goal of mine to learn Mandarin. I already know a little Mandarin from spending 2 months studying in Beijing. However, I have a heavy Beijing accent and haven't had a chance to practice my skills in multiple years. I would like to change that and would like to have someone who can meet me at my current level and tutor me up. I already have a decent Mandarin base and can probably jump right into learning new phrases. I can only speak a little, I cannot read or write any Chinese characters, so I would like to learn that as well if there is time.
I am currently in New Taipei City in the BanQiao district but will be willing to travel into Taipei for lessons. Rate is negotiable. Thank you.
