Hi! I'm a beginner to Chinese in search of a tutor or two who can help me build up my skills from a starting point of nothing. My ultimate goal for the hopefully not-too-distant future is to be able to read literature and talk about it in Chinese. It's especially important to me to find a tutor who has experience teaching the SOUNDS of Chinese: how to arrange one's tongue and teeth and so on to produce the consonants and vowels accurately. I want to work hard on getting the sounds right, so I need someone very patient. (I had to select something under "Degree Required," but I don't actually care about degrees -- experience, especially teaching the sounds of Chinese, is much more important to me.)

I'm interested in having 4-6 total hours of tuition per week (if you can't do that much, still feel free to contact me); I want to meet on weekdays in the morning or early afternoon (we can talk in more detail about times later), somewhere along the Wenhu Line (Brown Line).
