Tutor sessions must be enjoyable! I am a native English speaker from California and have been teaching English in Taiwan buxibans for a year. Tutoring gives me the opportunity to truly work with my students since our time together is focused on exactly what you want to learn. The lesson plan is catered to what you want, so it is important that you tell me exactly what you need. Ultimately, my style is to provide an energetic and comfortable atmosphere with no limits. In our sessions, there will be reading, discussions, and casual conversation. While I can feed you grammar and sentence structure all day, every day, what it comes down to is your confidence in your ability to communicate, so be ready to speak and to hold a conversation! Although it says in my title that I'm bilingual, I push that our sessions are 100% in English. However, I understand that at times, a little bit of Chinese is extremely helpful in speeding up the learning process.
