1. Information and instructions regarding registration will be sent to each incoming international student by mid-August, 2007. Follow the instructions to complete the registration. Failure to do so will be considered as voluntary disqualification from admission to the university. In addition, students are required to present their original diploma and passport during registration. Registration cannot be completed without these papers.
2. Students are required to present proof of medical and injury insurance or National Health Insurance which will be in effect for the entire duration of study in Taiwan. Students who are uninsured may choose to pay the insurance fees through the university during registration.

＊About I-Shou University
I-Shou University (ISU), formerly named Kaohsiung Polytechnic Institute (KPI), was founded in 1986 in Southern Taiwan. The founder of I-Shou University, Mr. Lin I-Shou, who is also the chairman of the I-Lien Group. In 1990, Mr. Lin invited Professor Shen-Li Fu to be the president of the university. Over past 13 years, ISU has expanded from only seven departments to five colleges twenty-eight departments and three graduate schools. And the student numbers has also grown from 300 in 1990 to 14,000 in 2003. As a comprehensive university, not only do we want our graduates to become professionals and a man of integrity, but we also want to create knowledge to contribute to our society.
Each academic year runs from August 1 to July 31 of the following year. The fall semester usually begins in mid-September, and the spring semester begins in mid-February of the following year.
