I will be spending the week of December 17 (2023) in Kaohsiung and am hoping to use my time there to improve my Mandarin conversational skills and vocabulary. I was born in Taiwan but raised in the United States and am currently living in Belgium, so I have a foundational understanding of grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation (tones, etc.) but it's definitely low level and needs improving/practice. I'm especially interested in improving my vocabulary, conversational abilities and understanding of local culture.
