Hello,
I am David, 39 years old, married, from Croatia. I am working in Taiwan for 7 years as an airline pilot- captain at EVA AIR.
Partly due to the nature of my work, but mainly due to my laziness, I am ashamed to say that my Mandarin language skills are close to none.
I am looking for a structured, and highly planned and organized learning schedule, with lots of homework and a professional approach, so I can seriously get on with the quest of learning Mandarin. I am interested in all aspects, including writing (both simplified and traditional).
I am aware that this is a long-term commitment, but with the right tempo and continuous work, I believe that it is worth my time and effort.
I would need some flexibility with the course timings, because I keep on travelling and changing the time zones, mailny via face-time online, but i believe that real-life, face to face courses are necessary once or twice a month, to check the progress and get the real impressions. I have some time during just a few days a month in Taoyuan, Luzhu.
I would expect my tutor to prepare and organize the lessons, keep checking my progress, and motivate me to push harder. All that for a reasonable price, of course.
