Thank for you reading this post. I am a British TESOL teacher from Oxford UK. I have taught all ages from kindergarten to retirees. The majority of my experience is with elementary and junior high school students (7-16). The pandemic put my teaching career on hold but while waiting for Taiwan to reopen I have used this time to acquire a masters degree in TESOL as well as CERT Tesol. I am looking for a full time role in Taipei or New Taipei City. My main criteria is a stable, well run school that matches my teaching philosophy of prioritising communicative ability and a positive environment for learners. I would prefer to work in a private or experimental school but would consider cram schools that offer a well designed learning experience. I'm also happy to help with curriculum and material design. I’m a Bachelor's Degree holder in Elementary Education and a Licensed Professional Teacher in my home country which is the Philippines since 2018, I am a mother of two adorable kids. I really love seeing their innocent smiles and faces that are reflections of life. Teaching them those basic education skills such as writing, reading, and analyzing things is still challenging and tiring work but showcasing their improvement will surely be paid off and fulfilled your work. I become a Teacher in a Primary public School in my home country for almost a year. And currently holding again a students from primary level. I would love to teach children in a foreign country, especially Taiwan, and for me to demonstrate my knowledge and skills gained through my recent schooling. This was, Taiwanese kids are really adorable, and they give me the feeling of being easy to work with. I've previously visited Taiwan as a tourist with my daughter and met some Taiwanese children. I've observed that, despite the fact that they are from different countries and don't understand each other when it comes to language, they continue to play with each other even though gestures or body language are their primary means of communication. In terms of the interaction between children and covering multiple subject areas including English. I fully enjoyed the experience of handling young ones as a Teacher. I was amazed at the same time learned a lot of new things from them.
