Hello, my name is Wes Clark and I am from Windsor, Ontario, Canada. I am a native English Speaker and an accredited TESOL English Teacher.
I am fascinated by the diversity of people and culture and this cultural curiosity has enabled me to travel around the world, including many places in Central America. However, I have never had the opportunity to travel to Asia. I am looking forward to being immersed in your language and culture, and I plan to be fluent in your language as soon as possible so I adapt and be an asset to your society.
I have a TESOL certificate, two University education Diplomas, for Mechanical Engineering through St. Clair College in Windsor, Ontario. I am also travelling abroad with my friend Doug Bryant who is also TESOL certified with 2 University diploma's as well. We are both hoping that working together at the same school will help coping against the affects of new surroundings, homesickness, which commonly plague newer ESL teachers. We have been friends for 4 years and we believe we would be a great asset to any school.
I have worked in the Service Industry was several years now and I have been told by many of my superiors that I have been the most patient, energetic, curious, organized and adaptable employee that their company has employed. I strive to be a leader, mentor and consultant. I love working with others, especially in the field of training and teaching. I love to demonstrate and explain in any job situation, especially when it comes to people who are unfamiliar in the area because it enables me to say definitively that I am helping someone to improve something in their lives. I believe with my dedication and intellect that I would make an excellent teacher at any facility and I feel I would be an added bonus to your teaching staff. With my knowledge of the English language I believe I could be possibly one of the best influences on all the students in my classroom.
I am available as of AUGUST 2003. Please feel free to contact me via e-mail with any questions or comments and I will attend to them immediately.
Thank You.
Currently, I hold a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Calgary. Over the past four years, I have tutored English and Science to students of all ages and levels in groups of up to three. I have also volunteered at a summer camp, supervising 20 children aged 6 to 14.
I have created numerous English worksheets and activities for students in order to enhance their understanding of the English language. Additionally, my communication skills were improved as I carefully explained solutions to various questions. My attention to detail skills have been developed through my experience, such that I am able to recognize and correct students? grammar and pronunciation errors. My teaching experience has enabled me to approach difficult situations with more patience and a stronger determination to resolve issues.
My studies at the University of Calgary have allowed me to strengthen my teamwork and communication skills through preparation and presentation of scientific issues. My French and Mandarin studies have allowed me to use my creativity skills to capture the attention of the audience in presentations. These studies have also allowed me to identify with students who are studying a foreign language.
As you can see, I have acquired numerous skills in a variety of environments. I hope to have the opportunity to demonstrate how my knowledge, skills, abilities and experience can contribute to your school. I can be reached via e-mail. Thank you for your time and consideration.
"My background is communications and journalism. I read, write and speak French & English, however as English is my mother tongue this is where my strength lies. I love language, and I am an outgoing, friendly, PATIENT individual who adores children. I love teaching, I have taught everything from ballet to soccer. I have much experience tutoring in English, as well I was a guest lecturer at Carleton University. I taught an ""English as a second language"" class about English writing and print journalism.
I would make an excellent English teacher."

I have been teaching in Tsao-tun (near Tai-chung) for almost a year and i have loved the job and my time here. I will be returning to the UK in August and upon my return in October, i will need a new job. I would like to get a job sorted out before i leave. I am a very hard working teacher who is improving all the time. My classes have alot energy and the children find them fun. I hope you can help me out.
I am eager and excited to begin teaching overseas. I know that I will learn as much from the students as they will learn from me! My past employers have all described me as a very patient person - and I will bring lots of patience with me! I am a creative teacher with lots of ideas. I don't feel bound to one teaching approach and can adapt my methods and approaches to meet the needs of my students. I believe in challenging students while giving them the tools and resources to succeed.
My background with students is really quite diverse. I have worked as a Children's Director in a church, along with my other experiences working with children. I have worked with young children and teenagers and have raised three sons of my own. When I was a conversational English instructor, I had students from Portugal, Mexico, Vietnam and Taiwan. One woman from Taiwan asked me to come to her home to provide private tutoring to her nephew in middle school. This was a very rewarding experience that I enjoyed tremendously.
I am currently scoring state administered essays which are given to eleventh graders in pursuit of scholarship funds. I score these essays based on the mastery of English
skills mandated by the state of Michigan.
Ideally, I would like to begin an assignment in August or September. I can be flexible, however. I am available to teach any age group, although my first choice would be teenagers or adults.
Please feel free to contact me by either telephone or e-mail. Thank you.

I am very enthusiastic in teaching and am looking for some small private classes to fill out my schedule. I prefer high school to adult aged students at the time.
I would expet 700NT for 1-3 students (one on one). Also, depending on location of the class the pay may be higher.
I am willing to travel to other cities near Chung Li to teach as well.
I AM an AMERICAN SCHOOL TEACHER. I have 2 MASTERS DEGREES. With PUTONGHUA, I will provide you or your child with good university - level language skills. I taught business English in Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Taipei. For an anthropological education, Call Me or send an email!
Hi there! I'm a Canadian man looking for a year's contract in Taiwan. I've been a Professional actor in Canada for many years but I've also had a full career as a Medical X-ray Technologist. I'm in excellant health (work-out everyday & yoga & meditation). I'm a practicing Tibetan Buddhist but I don't take myself too seriously...the Buddhist training just builds tolerance and compassion for all sentient beings, no matter how worped they may appear. I love teaching but want to leave Korea for personal reasons. I've been told I have excellent teaching skills although my experience has been limited. My major in University was Elmentary Education.
The only priorities I have are that I don't any split-shifts, more than one or two classes of kindergarten and I might need help obtaining an adequate, affordable studio apartment near your school (I can't share an apartment and do my meditation and Buddhist practices adequately). I am a very easy-going, adaptable fella who will be a good TEAM-PLAYER. Children over 7 are my best groups to challenge their English proficiency. Excellent references upon request.
