Hi all,

I'm looking for a private Chinese tutor for in person lessons around Taipei (I live in Shilin but work near Xinyi so really anywhere in the city is fine). I went to a language centre before and at the end of my course passed TOCFL Level 3 so my Chinese is okay but I've only had experience with academic learning. I'm a big believer that I need more input (through listening, reading and watching TV/movies) to help me improve my vocabulary and how well I use Chinese. So I'm hoping to find a teacher who's experienced in using these kinds of methods to teach their students, knows some useful resources for building up reading and listening comprehension and would be willing to base our classes around this kind of content.

I want to live and work in Taiwan for the foreseeable future so my main goal for learning Chinese is just to make life here more smooth and also open up future job opportunities! Thank you for taking the time to read my ad and I hope to hear from you soon :D
