My name is Albert Lee and I am an American Citizen Currently working in Taipei, Taiwan. I graduated from University of California, Irvine in 2015 with a degree in Criminology, Law, and Society (Law and Psychology); however after graduating I decided to disembark my journey of becoming a lawyer.
I moved to Taiwan in June 2017 and I worked at a Taiwanese security and safety technology company until October 2018 as the International Sales and Business Development Associate. During my tenure at the company, I had lectured International MBA students from National Taiwan University and taught them the importance of social impact and fire evacuation safety.
I had previous experience working in an international private school called Excelsior High School from 2014 - 2017 as the marketing associate and administrative assistant. While working with at Excelsior High School, I learned how to motivate and engage students with different methods of teaching so that they can understand the importance of striving for continuous knowledge and individual growth.
I have also worked with middle school students - ages 10 - 13 - in a non-profit organization called Disney GOALS; this organization was established to keep children with low - socioeconomic backgrounds away from trouble such as crimes and gang activity and have them focus more on academics and athletics. I completed a 3 - month internship at Disney GOALS as the site coordinator (academic coach), which I had to organize and manage students academic and athletic schedules so that they can easily transition into well-rounded, young professionals.
As you can see, I truly believe education is the most important value given to children and even adults. The academic success and growth of my students brings happiness and contentment to my life and I wish to keep helping those in need to succeed even further.
