I currently run small group sessions (3-8 students) at very competitive rates. I can tailor the classes to your group.
I have a Taiwanese assistant. I use a variety of material including standard sources, authentic material and material I have created (and recorded) myself. My recordings include a variety of native-speaker accents to expose you to more realistic situations. I also include excursions for my students or opportunities for them to meet several native speakers at once.
Unlike buxibans, I do not try to cram 20 students into a class, and I try to maintain high standards (though we will still move at your pace, rather than force you to move too fast). I will not lie to my students (or their parents) about their progress simply to retain a student. If you're looking for baby-sitting, lots of game playing and other general nonsense, go to a major chain buxiban.
I am NOT interested in doing one-on-one classes. If you're looking for a cheap tutor, get a South African who doesn't speak English properly or who is here illegally.
I live in Taoyuan City. I am willing to travel to your group's location (though additional travel rates may apply), or you can possibly join an existing group. The rates listed in this ad are per student for GROUP sessions, not one-on-one.
