Admission 2007-2008 Academic Year

Tunghai has always had deep respect for the arts, and, in addition to regular lectures and seminars, sponsors a performing Arts Festival, which draws large crowds every year from the campus and surrounding community.
The tranquil Tunghai University campus is an ideal environment to pursue studies. You can frequently find teachers and students meeting together, or just relaxing, in many areas throughout the campus, whether in the acacia groves, the campus mall, the traditional Chinese-style buildings, the Sunny Meadow or the chapel.

Application deadlines
Applicants may submit formal applications with all relevant documents to the Office of Academic Affairs of Tunghai University from February 1 to April 30 each year.

How to apply
1.Applicants may apply in person or have a third party submit his/her application.

2.Applicants for undergraduate study, should submit the application form to the Registrar’s Office(Tel.:+886-4-23590234, E-mail：[email protected]); applicants for graduate study, should submit the application form to the Office of Graduate Studies (Tel:+886-4-23598900, E-mail：[email protected]).

Total living expenses for an academic year
about US$7,200. This consists of US$3,200 for tuition and fees, US$500 for dormitory fees (for room but not board) and US$3,500 for everyday living expenses.

Scholarship
International students may apply for Taiwan scholarship provided by R.O.C. government , through a Taiwan Overseas Mission before they arrive in Taiwan. For further information, please refer websites Taiwan Scholarship of MOE（for example ：http://english.moe.gov.tw/ct.asp?xItem=551&CtNode=10632&mp=1）
Students may apply for financial aids provided by THU along with the application for admission. Those who have received the “Taiwan Scholarship” are ineligible.
