Taoyuan American School is excited to announce multiple teaching opportunities for the upcoming academic year. We seek passionate and dedicated educators to join our learning community in Taoyuan. We have openings for the following positions:

1-High School Science Teacher
2-Middle School English Teacher


Location: Taoyuan, Taiwan
Interview Availability: In-person interviews required

Required Qualifications

Educational Background:

*Minimum of a bachelor’s degree
*A Master’s degree or evidence of working toward it is preferred

Professional Experience:

*Positive working experience with a proven track record
*Recent evidence of professional growth

Leadership and Interpersonal Skills:

*Natural leadership qualities
*Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills

Preferred Requirements

Educational and Professional Credentials:

*University/College Degree
*Professional Teacher Qualification/Certification (e.g., B.Ed., M.Ed., PGDE, Teaching Certification/License)
*At least two years of relevant teaching experience

Experience and Skills:

*At least two years of relevant experience in an international school setting
*Practical experience with US Common Core and CA DOE Next Generation Science Standards
*Demonstrated use of technology in teaching practice
*Commitment to leading co-curricular activities
*A positive, caring, collaborative team player
