2022 English Teacher Wanted
Tsz-Shiou High School is a private, boarding school with a good learning environment located in New Taipei City. We are looking to select dedicated, enthusiastic, and professional teachers to join our team of staff. We offer a competitive salary, bonuses, and paid holidays, along with board and three meals during the regular school time.

Qualifications:
(1) A passport holder of a country where English is the official language;
(2) A graduate of AB English or BS Education Major in English or equivalent. If field of specialization is not English, must at least hold a TESOL/TEFL certificate, preferably CELTA/DELTA/Trinity;
(3) Experience in teaching TOEIC, GEPT, TOEFL, and or IELTS is an advantage;
(4) A certificate of C2 level scores in TOEIC, TOEFL, or IELTS/Cambridge exams for non-native speakers of the English language;
(5) Vaccinated for COVID-19 according to the Ministry of Education’s policy;
(6) At least two years of experience teaching English;
(7) Open to working in a multi-cultural environment under a Taiwanese manager;
(8) Willing to follow the curriculum and/or materials provided by the school;
(9) Flexible teaching style for both academic and conversational ESL (communicative approach rather than lecture based);
(10) Preferably ARC or APRC holders

Benefits:
(1) Negotiable salary
(2) Full-time position for 25 hrs/wk and a minimum of 6 hrs/wk for a part-time position;
(3) Winter and summer vacation days are paid;
(4) A semestral bonus based on performance evaluation.
(5) Free meals are provided on working days;
(6) Free accommodation in school, with a charge of NT$1,000 per month for utilities.
(7) Labor insurance & Health insurance are provided.

Responsibilities:
(1) Teach ESL lessons to high school students (lessons include, but not limited to academic and conversational ESL);
(2) Train students and/or facilitate activities periodically as required by management;
(3)Plan, develop, and coordinate class materials with other teachers whenever necessary;
(4) Submit a weekly reflection;
(5) Other duties and functions incidental to the position
