Hi tutors, I need your help to get my Chinese skills flowing again. I’m HSK level 3. Grammar easy, pronuciation no problem, writing ok (pinyin to Hanzi no problem, handwriting not needed, vocab vocab vocab is the issue, and the listening ability when it gets too fast. Lived, worked and studied Mandarin in Shanghai for several years. Now in Taichung City for some weeks. Would be best to have morning classes. oh, I’m German, female 40, love languages, tough towards myself, hence a perfect student. Anybody out there, spontaneously available, to make me a good offer? We are in need of Chinese tutor for our three children, ages 10, 8, and 4. All three kids are in bilingual programs and need all the help they can get to learn Chinese. We would like for you to prepare lessons plans for the kids and also prepare work for them (flashcards and maybe worksheets) so they can practice during the day. We (Mom and Dad) might also sit in on the lessons but the kids would be the main thing. We'd like someone who can come to our house 3-5 evenings per week, depending on schedule and price. We are in the Neihu area near Nangang park. We would like someone who has experience with children and who can be friendly and engaging, while also keeping the kids focused and progressing in their Chinese.

Hi all, I'm a beginner who knows about 1500 words, able to converse on basic topics but looking to improve my ability to converse easily in different topics. I study very hard on my own as well.

I have been learning Chinese on and for about 4 years. Last year I studied full time for 9 months at MTC in Shida. I studied up to Book 3 Lesson 3 in the 'Course in Contemporary Chinese' text book. I am looking for a tutor to help me continue studying the new grammar and vocab in this textbook. I would also like to practice general conversation. I feel like my listening skills are pretty weak so I need a teacher that talks a lot and can find different ways to help me understand. I would also like a tutor to set me with written homework each week and help me with corrections and discuss the homework each class. Hello! I will be living in Taiwan for 1 year and would like to learn as much Mandarin as I can. Since I live in Zhongli, I would like to find a tutor in Zhongli or the surrounding area. My availability for classes would be in the afternoon/ evening of Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and/or Fridays. I will be a dedicated student; I'm already practicing the little bit I've learned from Mandarin apps on my phone :) I am fine with either a small group or one-on-one tutoring.
