I'm Sean and I am a professional teacher from Ireland. I have been teaching in Taiwan for 4 years, I work mostly as a full time kindergarten teacher but I have several young learners, children and adults as private students in my free time. I specialise teaching young learners in particular phonics, reading and daily conversation skills. My lessons are customisable to the needs of the students but usually for children I will incorporate games, crafts, songs, stories and activities to build up English usage in a natural and fun enviroment. Depending on the age and ability of the student there are also several textbooks I can recommend to give structure and extra activities to our lessons. I believe lessons should be 100% in English but I am conversationally fluent in Chinese which allows me to guide children to fully express themselves in English. I also am available to teach adults. Many students have goals such as IELTS or obtaining business proficiency in English that will require structured lessons and textbooks. For those simply looking to enhance their daily conversational skills I will usually use newspaper articles, youtube videos, music, movies or TV shows to create a comfortable enviroment where usefull vocabulary can be learnt and put in practice!

I’m an American TESOL certified English teacher with five years of English teaching experience. I have experience teaching adults in the U.S. and France with personalized lesson plans that fit the student’s needs.
