I am a native English speaker from California who is also fluent in Chinese. I have been in Taiwan for over 3 years and throughout this time I have been employed in a broad range of work. From managing multiple businesses to tutoring and teaching both children and adults alike. I have learned and experienced a great amount and have come to the conclusion that I have a love and passion for the academic industry. I am a very patient, easy-going, and hard-working individual who takes work and responsibilities very seriously. I have a very flexible teaching style; I can make learning English fun by including games and activities or I can be more serious by assigning worksheets and tests.

I majored in English when I was in college and studied in America for one year as an exchange student. I've taught children in English institution for six months.

I currently split time working at both kindergarten/cram schools , as well as some evenings teaching adults. I am able to tutor young children, as well as adults (especially in Business English). We can meet at a coffeeshop, library, bar, or whatever makes you feel comfortable. I have many fun and interesting lesson plans already created (but I can make new ones, depending on your goals). I also have lots of workbooks if you want a more structured class. I tend to focus mostly on conversation and vocabulary, but can provide help with grammar, reading, or writing as well. I live near and work near 光華商場 in Taipei City, but can travel to meet you as well. I’m every afternoon from about 11:30am until about 4:00pm. I’m also available evenings after about 7:00pm or 7:30pm (Tuesday and Thursday would work best). I can meet weekends as well, if you’d prefer.
