Hello! We moved to Taipei a year ago and are now looking for a native-Mandarin speaking tutor to meet up with us a few times a week. I have three small children, and the two oldest [Lucie (4), and Ada (3)] are excited to start learning and practicing how to speak Mandarin. They can count to ten and say a few words, but unfortunately their mama can't teach them much more than that and they are anxious for more! Ada's attention span probably isn't much longer than about 15 or 20 minutes at this point, but Lucie can probably handle lessons that are 45-60 minutes. This is our first time doing this, so we're not entirely sure, but we think we'd like some structured learning with grammar and vocabulary practice, and then mostly just conversational practice time. We're open to methods and suggestions from tutors! I might be biased, but my kids are pretty cute and fun and would be great pupils (and I would be there to make sure they were). :)
