University Credit and Degrees

Established in 1963, KUAS has developed from a junior college to a leading University of Science and Technology in southern Taiwan.
Mission and goals of KUAS are:
● teaching and developing applied sciences as well as practical skills by integrating theory with practice and technology with the study of humanities;
● training professionals in engineering, business, and humanities to help boost local and national development.
● providing technical services and opportunities for professional training to meet the demands of the industry.
● designing life-long educational programs to serve the community.
● encouraging research on the theory and practice of technology via the establishment of research centers.
● to become a world-class university of science and technology.

Having celebrated its 40th anniversary, KUAS will keep its commitment to provide top-quality education to students and best service to the community in the coming years.
Each academic year begins on August 1 and ends on July 31of the following year. The first semester usually begins in mid- or late-September, and the second semester begins in late February of the following year.

＊Application is only eligible for Fall semester. Application form should be submitted to the Registrar’s Office by the end of February.

＊International students may apply for scholarships to Office of Student Affairs of KUAS after admission. When applying, applicants must abide by the international student scholarships application regulations by the Ministry of Education in Taiwan.
