＊Established in 1968, Taipei Physical Education College was originally named Taipei Municipal Junior College of Physical Education, which offered five-year and two-year study programs. Mr. Hon-tan Lin, the first president of the college, laid a sound foundation for the school. He retired in February 1977.

The college is scheduled to move to the new Tien-mu campus in two years. The 16-acre multipurpose facility houses the administrative building, lecture rooms, faculty offices, swimming pool, student dormitories, laboratories, gymnasium, and multipurpose sport halls. The vision of the college aims not only to cultivate good athletes but also blend college life with the community.
