＊EDUCATIONAL GOALS
This is an institution for educating marine related professionals and specialists. Our education goals include upholding the spirit of university education, and developing ‘practical marine technologies’ as our main target. We hope to grant students a most comprehensive education, cultivating them to be the most distinguished seafarers, and becoming the most distinguished marine science and technology university in Taiwan.

Education is a long term commitment. This university is assigned by the nation the responsibility of developing marine and cultivating specialists. Our mission is ‘To cultivate marine relevant professionals, to establish solid foundation for the continued development of marine in Taiwan.’

Marine Transportation (Shipping Technology, Marine
Engineering), Marine Management (Shipping Transportation and
Management, Information Management, Logistic Management).
Marine Engineering (Ship Building, Electrical Communication,
Marine Environmental Science, Micro-electronics).
Hydrosphere Science (Fishery, Seafood Processing, Aquaculture,
Marine Bio-technology) to form a mutual body of cross intersection, so as to develop and to form a solid foundation for the continuing development of marine science and technology

＊Foreign Students’ Scholarship
--Applicants don’t have received R.O.C. governmental scholarship or the scholarship offered by other organizations while they are applying for NKMU scholarship.
--Scholarship: maximum NT$ 30,000 per person per semester.
--Vacancy amount: thirty students per semester schoolwide.
--Application procedure: Applicants must have the following documents prepared to apply for the scholarship in the Students’ Affairs Office, extracurricular activity group at the beginning of each semester.
