＊Founded in 1964 as a privately funded college in central Taiwan, the Overseas Chinese Institute of Technology (OCIT) is dedicated to excellence in teaching, research and community services. OCIT has a proud tradition of providing educational opportunities for intellectual and emotional growth in a broad range of disciplines and professional fields.

Integration of the latest technology throughout the College strives to create a stimulating environment in which students, faculty and staff can develop their interests, skills and talents to the fullest extent. Diverse extracurricular activities are offered, through which interpersonal communication and cooperation skills can be cultivated as a compliment to sound study skills and preparation for lifelong learning.

By expanding faculty, curriculum and infrastructure, OCIT aims for accreditation as a university in the near future.
