Urgent and Immediate. Grace Christian Academy is facing the imminent departure of teachers from the US who do not want to be vaccinated or take weekly self-check tests for covid per government mandates in Taiwan as of September 1. The wide range of student ages available include elementary, middle school and high school. The wide range of subjects available include academics such as Language Arts, Math and Science, and specials such as Art and Bible.
Grace Christian Academy was founded in 1998 and has a strong student base. As an international school, all teaching is conducted in English. Our preference for 23 years has been to hire US certified teachers, however, each year our teachers are from at least 7 different countries. Therefore, teachers from the US and other countries can apply.
Salary is based upon degrees awarded, ranging from NT$60,000-$80,000 per month. The school day is long, 7:30-4:30. The school calendar aligns with major holidays in Taiwan and in the US. Curriculum from the US is used at all grade levels. We are a WASC accredited school. Our school culture is one where Bible reading and prayer are common place in all classrooms.
