Ying Hai International Education Centre is a Cambridge Direct International School, certified to offer the entire range of educational opportunities available from Lower Secondary to Senior High School A Levels. In this exciting phase of expansion and development of our new school, we are recruiting experienced teachers of Math and Science, the Humanities, English Language Arts and English as a Second Language.

Teachers with certifications in their home country are preferred. Applicants should either currently reside in Tainan City or be willing to relocate to Tainan from within Taiwan. In this round of offers, only Taiwanese ARC holders presently residing in the country will be considered. Accommodation is not provided by the school, yet a housing subsidy is available to certified personnel relocating to Tainan for this role.

We offer competitive pay for qualified personnel, with starting salary commensurate with levels of qualification and experience. You will enjoy a healthy full-time teaching schedule of 24 classes per week. Part-timers are also invited to apply.

We are based on the campus of Ying Hai Private High School, a school with a 61 year history and 2,000 students. The international program has bright future prospects, offering regular Cambridge teacher training courses and a supportive in-house teacher observation and development program.

Our first cohort of graduating senior students, saw 50% of the students receive offers to world top 100 universities. We look forward to continued growth and expansion as the only Cambridge school in Tainan and the only A Level teaching Centre in Taiwan.

For the unfamiliar, Tainan is a great location to begin or continue your career in education. With ample sunshine, the weather allows residents to enjoy the nearby ocean as well as the city’s many historic sights and vibrant culture. With convenient access to the High Speed Rail, all of Taiwan’s beauty is within reach, including Taipei and Taichung to the north, Taitung to the east, and both Kaohsiung and Kenting to the south.

Part-time ESL teacher position available in Chiayi

Chia Hwa Senior High School in Chiayi has a part-time ESL teacher position available. The school is located in the East District of the city, east of Chiayi Park.
We are currently seeking an experienced, motivated, and creative ESL teacher.
Working hours are Monday-Friday 3:30-5:30 PM, up to 10 hours/week
A curriculum will be provided.
Students are junior high.
Class size is 20-30 students.
700NTD/hour.
The position starts September 1st.
