Hello! My name's Nate, and I'm a native English speaker from the U.S. who studied Mandarin Chinese for a year in Taiwan while I was a college student at UC Berkeley. Unfortunately, I haven't really kept it up since graduating from college and starting to work, but I'm really excited to pick it up again and to improve my listening and speaking abilities in particular. Incidentally, I just came back from a vacation to Taiwan (which I missed so much!), and I anticipate future trips in the coming years, where I'd hope to be able to be able to better communicate with the locals.
