Hi there. I'm Lilian, feel free to call me Yingxuan or Lily. I'm a professional Mandarin teacher with more than 6 years of teaching Mandarin Chinese at colleges and schools. I have both a Master's and Bachelor's Degree in Teaching Chinese as a second language. With extensive teaching experiences, I've minored in Psychology and also trained as an IB school teacher.
My students’ levels are various from beginner to advanced. Students' backgrounds are varied from English teachers, scholars, engineers, international students, overseas Chinese/Taiwanese to spouses of diplomats. Why do they love to learn Mandarin with me? Because I always tailor every class that suits their needs and use a variety of strategies to make students master Chinese tones and grammar easily.
I produce fun and engaging lessons to expose students to the culture and the Mandarin-speaking world. To nurture students' passions and talents in language learning, I provide students with real-life experiences to help them speak confidently in any daily situation.
