I have been working at a cram school in Taipei for the past year, teaching children aged 6-12, including private tutor sessions. Previously I taught English in Japan for 2 years in public elementary and junior high schools. I taught students aged 6-15. I also have experience teaching an adult conversation class in Japan. For tutoring children, I like to make learning English a fun and enjoyable activity. Any age group is fine. I can help students if they are struggling with homework assignments or a particular skill of English (e.g listening, speaking, reading, writing, etc). Or if older students are preparing for a year abroad, particularly to the UK, I can help them with regional dialects. Similarly, for adults, whether you need help with grammar, speaking practice, preparation for a test or business English, I can help. If you have particular study materials that you like to use then I can use them. I speak and write British English, but my accent is quite neutral and very understandable.
