Taipei Fuhsing Private School invites teachers in the Taipei area to join our on-call list of substitute teachers. Substitute teaching can be a great way to develop your CV, cultivate professional relationships, and earn extra money if you are currently focused on after-school teaching and tutoring.

Eligible candidates must live in the Taipei area. Substitute teachers are not eligible for work permits, so candidates must have open work permits or work permits secured through other institutions.

Fuhsing is a historic K-12 institution located in the heart of Taipei near the Zhongxiao Dunhua MRT station. Starting in first grade, the bilingual division is modeled on an American curriculum and produces excellent English speakers who are well versed in western skills and concepts, achieving admittance to many of the finest universities in the world. Our school currently employs 37 qualified teachers from overseas.

Our international teachers are responsible for five content areas. In the secondary school we offer Literature, Science and Social Studies, while in the elementary school we have Reading and Science.

Interested candidates are invited to send their CV to [email protected]. Please include the following information in your email:
1. Place “Substitute teacher available” in the subject line.
2. Your self introduction.
3. The range of subjects and ages you are comfortable teaching.
4. Your typical available times during the week.

Suitable candidates will be contacted and provided with further details.
