This is Guang Fu IKE's English School in Da'an district, Taipei City. We are located near Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall Station, MRT- Blue Line - Exit 2 (about a 2 minute walk from the station). We provide work permits for our foreign teachers. ABC is welcomed to join us. We are looking for competent native English speaker teachers.
(We’d prefer you to have an American or a British accent.) NT$700~750/hr
Mon. to Fri. Afternoons & Evenings. Working hours are from 2~7pm.
If you are concerned about the part-time nature of the job, as a foreign teacher you will have 8-14 teaching hours per week, and potentially more.
(For this position, you will have two to three reader classes on your own and a few 30-minute lessons with our local teachers. The students are all elementary school students.
The reader classes will be your own responsibility, and you will have to teach and manage the classes.
As for the 30-minute lessons, you will have them with different materials and interact with students in different classes.)
