VIS is expanding and seeking passionate educators to join our team! We provide a modern, high-quality learning experience for our students, with a diverse faculty from universities worldwide. As the first and only school in Taiwan offering a core Project-Based Learning (PBL) curriculum, we are transforming education and empowering students for the future.

Junior High Opportunities:
• Full-time Mathematics and PBL (Project Based Learning) Teacher
• Full-time Science and PBL (Project Based Learning) Teacher

Senior High Opportunities:
• Full-time Physics & Math Teacher (Project Based Learning) Teacher

Responsibilities:
• Teach Mathematics, Science, or a combination of both subjects with a PBL focus.
• Develop and implement interdisciplinary projects that connect academic concepts to real-world applications.

Requirements:
• Strong subject knowledge and effective teaching skills, particularly in algebra, functions, and calculus (for a math-focused position).
• Degree in Mathematics, Science, or a related field.
• Part-time potentially available

Requirements (for all positions):
• A bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field
• Fluency in English (spoken and written)
• Eligibility to obtain an ARC and work permit
• Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to engaging student-centered teaching

Preferred Qualifications:
• Professional teaching certifications (e.g., Postgraduate Diploma in Education)
• Experience teaching at the middle or high school level (minimum two years preferred)
• Familiarity with or experience in Project-Based Learning methodologies
• Collaborative mindset and ability to contribute to an innovative educational environment

Expectations (Junior and Senior High):
• Design and deliver engaging, interdisciplinary lessons aligned with the PBL framework
• Develop and implement projects that connect course material to real-world applications
• Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration among students
• Work closely with colleagues to align curriculum goals with the school’s mission
• Provide ongoing support and constructive feedback to students
• Participate in professional development and contribute to the school’s growth and innovation
