A. TLI Introduction
TLI is a professional training institute specializing in teaching Chinese to foreigners for over 65 years. We are honored to be selected by the Taipei City Government as a collaborator for the ETA Project, allowing us to create a more diverse English learning environment for elementary and junior high school students in Taipei City.

B. Job Responsibilities
- Work at elementary or junior high schools in Taipei City.
- Assist local teachers in teaching various subjects.
- Create a relaxed and natural English learning environment for students, inspire their motivation to learn, and encourage them to speak English confidently.
- Design and implement engaging learning activities, and assist with the English Corner activities at each school.
- Classroom management and ability to maintain discipline and run the class effectively.
- Regularly attend TLI teacher training sessions and meetings.
- Adhere to the host school's policies and follow the guidance of TLI supervisors.
- Be open to periodic observations and evaluations of teaching performance.
C. Working Hours
- Full availability from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday to Friday. The exact arrival and departure times are subject to the regulations of each individual school and may vary slightly.
- Teaching 20 hours maximum a week (Monday to Friday).
- Stay on campus as needed during working hours to prepare for teaching-related tasks.
- No departure from the campus is permitted without prior approval from both the school and TLI, even if there are no scheduled classes.
- No on-site service is required during the winter and summer vacation periods.

E. Application Requirements
- Bachelor's degree; a degree in English or a related field of Education is preferred.
- Possession of a TEFL or TESOL certification is highly desirable.
- English as the Mother Tongue.
- Individuals holding dual citizenship are also eligible.
- Ability to design course content independently.
- A one-year contract must be signed.
- Passionate about teaching and able to adapt to various student needs and situations.
- Experience in international teaching is preferred, with the ability to adapt to and thrive in a multicultural environment
