Yu-Jen is an elementary school looking for a Foreign English teacher for elementary science and math. We have a teacher with a significant health issue, and after adjusting internally, we need to fill a science/math position. The focus is still predominantly on teaching English (the prospective teacher does not need to be math/science oriented, but rather needs to be a native English speaker), and this position will not exist after this academic year. Hopefully we can hire someone with a perspective to stay with us in a literacy position in future years as we continue expanding.

We are a school with a great reputation, excellent benefits, and a positive, professional team. We have paid winter and summer vacations, multiple health insurances (NHI, Labor Insurance, and a private insurance), a strong pension system, contract-completion bonuses, and multiple other benefits. The curriculum is clear and materials are provided to the teacher.

We are looking for energetic professional teachers. Character is as important as ability in our team. Background checks and drug tests will need to be provided. If a work permit is needed, applicants need to hold teaching certification. However, permanent residence holders are also welcome.

We have a newly improved pay structure that rewards qualifications and certain types of previous experience. In the process of our present expansion, we hope to find teachers that will stay with us for a long time. We always start with single year contracts, but we do offer longer term contracts to teachers who fit in well.
