Full-time English Teaching Position Available
An exciting opportunity to work for Learning Seed School based in Zhunan, Miaoli County. We are currently looking for full-time Young Learner & Elementary English Teacher in our ESL Program.

Position Description:
Full time. Monday to Friday.
Morning sessions (Young Learners):
There are 20-22 students in each class. There are 2 Taiwanese teachers, one to assist the English teacher and another as a caretaker for the children.
Afternoon sessions (Elementary):
Teachers teach Speaking, Phonics, Reading, Writing, and Grammar.
There is one Taiwanese teacher to assist, full curriculum and books.

Teaching hours:
24 hours/week basic salary teaching hours (during the term period), plus 3-5 afternoon hours paid at hourly rate.

Student Age:
Young Learners and elementary school age.

Salary:
The base salary is NTD $58,000~60,000 per month (24 teaching hours/per week) depending on experience and qualifications.
Afternoon sessions are paid hourly at $500 per hour. Teachers can expect $6000-$10000/month in addition to their base salary, depending on their timetable.

About the School:
Our school is located in Zhunan, Miaoli County. We have two schools in the area, and we are looking to add to our current family of Taiwanese and International teachers, who are all very friendly and share a passion for education. Our students are fun and really enjoy learning English in active and engaging classes. We currently have a 4 person team of international teachers, who continue to resign contracts each year. We promote a relaxed working atmosphere, where you can express your skill set as well as develop new skills and practices.
Zhunan is close to a number of popular beaches, as well as a short distance to the local mountains with famous places like Beipu. You can also easily get to Taipei or Taichung via the HSR in under an hour. The cost of living here is considerably lower than larger cities like Taipei whilst having all the modern comforts you would expect, allowing our international teacher to live very comfortably, add to their savings, and explore Taiwan on the weekends.

Contract period:
The contract period will start from 12th August 2019, and is for one year, which an option to renew at the end of the contract period.

Holidays and Benefits:
- Performance bonus in the end of contract.
- Paid national holidays.(except Typhoon days)
- Paid summer vacation (2 weeks, August 2018)
- Paid winter vacation (2 weeks).

Accommodation:
The school can provide assistance with finding suitable accommodating, though deposit and rent will be paid by the employee.

Working Hours
Start of work (punch in): 8:30 am
Lunch time: 12pm to 1:30pm
Afternoon Teaching Session: 1:30 to 6pm, depending on schedule. If no classes, teachers can punch out after 16:30.

Pre-requisites and Qualifications:
1. Native English speakers from one of the following countries: UK, America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa.
2. ESL or CELTA/TEFL/TESOL certificate, or Degree in Education.
3. Teaching experience preferred.
4. A positive attitude and with a passion for education.
5. Female applicants preferred, although male candidates welcome to apply.
