A full-time teaching position is available at an esteemed and independent college preparatory boarding/day school (grades 7-12) in Hsinchu County, Taiwan, for native English teachers to start teaching from September, 2019

Requirements:
Native English speaker with a passport from an English-speaking country (for the purpose of ARC and work permit application)
a Bachelor's degree (and/or above)
a Secondary Teaching License if an ARC needs to be applied for (not essential for an APRC/JFRV holder)
Teaching experience (of SAT and Math) an advantage

Package:
a 12-month contract
A starting monthly salary of NT$ 70,000, adjusted depending on qualifications and teaching experience
no more than 25 classes (50-minute) per week; an additional class is paid extra with an hourly rate of NT$ 700
ARC and Work Permit provided (if applicable)
Health insurance, labour insurance
Housing allowance of 7,000 monthly or accommodation provided by school
Annual air-ticket reimbursement: NT$ 40,000
Contract renewal BONUS (1 month’s salary)
Free meals on campus in week days


Job description:
Following the course outline of a subject, designing and delivering lessons
Preparing, administering, and marking tests, projects, and assignments to evaluate and record students’ progress
Participating in staff meetings, educational conferences and workshops
Performing extra-curricular tasks
Participating in school events
