Latest News:  10/27/2001 - BIG STEP BEYOND...and forward.  As of 6a.m. today The Blue line has opened to Chung-Hsaio/Fushing station, AND you can pick it up or get off at the Main Station.   Trains are running every 6-8 minutes.  Last train along the line continues to be 11pm.

Going from Hsin-Pu to Chung-Hsaio/Fushing all stations are open.  Traveling back the other way, the Lungshan Station is closed.  The trains will just skip this stop.

The interchange of the trains at the Mains Station remains closed.

Final trains for the Blue, Yellow Green lines continue to be 11pm.  See not below.

Officials now predict the interchange among the trains at the Main Station will reopen sometime in December

SPECIAL ATTENTION:  Until further notice the last train for the Green, Yellow and newly re-opened section of the Blue Line will be at 11pm.  The Brown will be unaffected, last train at Midnight.

Officials explain that they are closing these lines earlier to allow repair workers more access time to the rails in an effort to hasten the repair.

Take note of this if you have been relying on the train as your ride home at night.  The last train along the Yellow, Green and Blue Lines will start at 11pm every day until further notice.  Green Line Example: you usually pick up the train at Chung Shan station to ride home.  The last train will pull out of Hsien Tien station at 11pm.  If it takes the train 20 minutes to travel from Hsien Tien to Chung Shan, then you need to be at Chung Shan station BEFORE 11:20.  The run that starts at 11pm is the final one of the night.
